Creating Your First Recipe
Add a recipe to BonApp! by importing a supported web or social link, scanning a printed recipe with your camera, or entering the ingredients and instructions manually.
You can add your first recipe to BonApp! in three ways: import a link, scan a printed recipe, or enter a recipe yourself. Choose the method that matches where your recipe comes from.
Option 1: Import a recipe link
For recipes on supported websites or social platforms, use the link or sharing option to send the recipe to BonApp!. The app's import tools are intended to turn available recipe information into a saved recipe.

Option 2: Scan a printed recipe
If your recipe is in a cookbook or printed clipping, use BonApp!'s recipe scanning feature and your device camera to capture the page.
Option 3: Create a recipe manually
Use the recipe creation option to enter your own ingredients and instructions, then save the recipe to your collection.
Which option should I choose?
- Online recipe: Try importing the URL or using the app's Share menu.
- Printed recipe: Try the camera-based recipe scanner.
- Your own recipe: Create it manually.
